Paul Cardullo comes from a strong union background. He has been a Teamster member since the age of 17. Brother Cardullo started as a warehouse Shop Steward under Local 929's jurisdiction and then became the Shop Steward for the drivers. He moved through the ranks and became President and Principal Officer of Teamsters Local Union No. 929 in Philadelphia, PA. and still holds that position.
Brother Cardullo was instrumental in instituting the multiplier in the Teamsters Pension Fund of Philadelphia and Vicinity. He was also instrumental in having multiple investors, a total of 15, for the Teamsters Health & Welfare Fund of Philadelphia and vicinity which brought the fund to over 1.5 billion. In 1988 he secured the Local 158 Pension Fund and eventually brought it into the Teamsters Pension Fund of Philadelphia and Vicinity.
Brother Cardullo was named Man of the Year for Deborah Hospital and was also the first recipient of the Champion Award" from the American Cancer Society. He was on the Board of Variety Club and is a supporter of the Rudolphy Home for the Blind. Brother Cardullo and his wife, Anna have one son who is also a dedicated Teamster Brother.
